Golf Pro Lessons

Golf pro lessons are the ideal way tom learn to play golf.  The following excerpt is a great example.  What Movement Does The Right Hip Make? In the photos below, notice that from address to impact, the red line (drawn where daylight
hits Matt’s waist) moves only an inch or two toward the toe of his right shoe.
As Matt’s hips initiate his flail, his right hip moves more forward than in toward the ball. This makes sense given that the left hip is making so large a 12-to-13-inch move in the behind direction.

Right Elbow Pathway:
Somewhat beyond halfway from top of lift ‘n coil to impact, Matt’s right elbow is touching his right side. But, at this same point in his flail, look how far forward his hips have moved from where they were at the top. Matt’s right elbow is just barely able to move on the pathway it wants to be on. Imagine what would happen to this right elbow if Matt did not initiate his flail with his hips, especially with the move of his left hip around and behind 12 to 13 inches. His right hip would be further in the back direction and his right elbow would collide with his right side.

By not initiating their flails with their hips, most amateurs’ right sides are obstructing the right arm’s desired pathway. Their minds figure out how to keep momentum in their right arms: ’come over the top’.
