 SWAIL: DVD
The DVD is 55 minutes long. If you’ve always been perplexed over how the golf swing works, SWAIL will remove the fog. SWAIL contains new drills intended to give you the feel of a Tour-pro swing, and new instruction to get you into positions and moves that will enable you to use your body most efficiently in hitting a golf ball. New knowledge, assembled and presented straightforwardly.
Illustrative swing images, from seven different camera angles, highlight the points SWAIL makes. At the end of the DVD, these images are gathered into a “Treasury”. You can select among all seven camera angles, and you can select the speed at which you want to watch: Normal, Slo-Mo, Super Slo-Mo.
These images truly are extraordinary. A one-of-a-kind camera (Cine Speedcam) was escorted from Hollywood to the Denver sound stage to capture them. Typical video cameras capture motion at 24-29 frames a second. This special piece of gear can capture action at 1000 frames per second. It required 75,000 watts of light during our shoot.
The ‘Super-Slo-Mo’ images are very smooth whether played back on your computer monitor or tv. Viewers describe them as “hypnotic”, ”mesmerizing”. |
